Pandaemonium Miniatures

Salute 52 was on Saturday 12th April, and it was an excellent time! I spent the day painting at Cerberus Studios' stand (TC10), working on these three very dynamic Var'ac Wraiths - vampires who can transform into mist and back at will. I got pretty far with them on Saturday but didn't quite finish, so I spent a bit of time today to get them completed - good fun trying to get across the idea of them emerging from mist into solid form!

Throughout the day, lots of folks came to the stand to have a chat, buy miniatures from Cerberus' Celestial Affinity and Mortals' Reckoning ranges, and see how I was getting on.
A lot of people were interested in the Pro Acryl paints I use, and in the Storr Warriors I had on top of my case. Lots of people grabbed a flyer, business card and/or sticker too, and a few people said they might be in touch about potential commission work.

I had a bit of a chance to go around some of the stands and catch up with people, but the day seemed to go incredibly quickly! It was lovely to see so many friends, meet new people and people who I previously only knew through social media - I won't reel off a list as I'm bound to miss people out! I was very glad of my Daylight Company portable USB lamp - it's very hard trying to paint with the ambient light in a big hall like this, so having a good lamp that I didn't need to plug in was very helpful. I'll be working with Cerberus Studios again at UK Games Expo at the end of May in Birmingham - looking forward to it!
